We cultivate our vines on a volcanic soil  originated 35 million years ago from a submarine volcano  and this imparts undeniable mineral and saline sensations to wine. We only grow Garganega grapes – a native variety that has been grown in Colognola ai Colli in the Venetian region since the times of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago – without using pesticides or herbicides.

Our vines are 70 years old and drive their roots 7 ft (2metres) down into the soil thus absorbing minerals and water. The low grape yield per hectare, the fermentation of white grapes with the skins and the ageing of wine in contact with its fine lees for a considerable time  develop round, full and creamy flavours that make our wines an excellent and unique expression of the terroir of Colognola ai Colli - Monte Casteggioni.

Our wines are lingering, elegant and mineral where taste and flavours are linked together.
