Consorzio Grado Turismo gathers together many different companies engaged in the touristic promotion of Grado, the "Island of the Sun", a modern italian tourist centre located in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, between Triest and Venice. The core task of the association is that of promoting and advertising the seaside resort and its hospitality. The main aim of the Grado Turismo Consortium is to give a unique voice to the Grado Tourist Operators and to promote the brand "Grado" in a uniform and homogeneous way, avoiding fragmentation and inconsistency both in the tourist offer itself and in its communication and promotion. Thanks to the close contact with the local tourist, economic and social institutions and operators, the Consortium can act in the collective interest of its members and of the whole Island, taking care of the image, visibility, liveability and saleability of "Grado" without privileging any structure or type of service in particular.

The Consortium deals primarily with communication: between its members, with authorities and institutions, with journalists, opinion makers and large operators, as well as of course with tourists.

• Communication between the Associates allows to face the common tourist demand, to standardize the offer, to organize offers that involve different operators in tourist services more easily visible and placeable.

• Communication with institutions and authorities, as well as due, serves to obtain aid, resources and guidance, to synchronize image and activities to development projects that are being carried out at regional, national and European level.

• Communication with Journalists, Opinion Makers and Large Tour Operators allows to provide an overall and homogeneous image of Grado and to strengthen and correct its visibility and reputation.

• Finally, the Communication with Tourists serves, in addition to physically managing part of the incoming flows, to build a new and better image of Grado, to retain them and to involve them in marketing activities.
