The present invention solves one of the problems that this tuber presents, and it is the possibility of using it as an ingredient for the preparation of dishes, providing a procedure that allows its softening so that its texture is pleasant to the palate. In the present invention, a maceration of the solid product (tiger nut) is produced in a liquid medium.
