AONIR Platform for food production real-time monitoring
About
To optimise production processes and increase productivity, we have developed the AONIR platform, which consists of two main components: optical sensors based on near-infrared spectroscopy and an IoT platform for storing, visualising and generating alarms and reports related to the quality of the analysed products. The key component is sensors installed in the production line itself, which can send data related to product chemistry or moisture in real time to our IoT platform or directly to a PLC. With this data, quick decisions can be made to prevent the final product from being out of specification, thus reducing waste. In addition to quality control, our platform can monitor the process itself, contributing to significant energy savings by controlling the production process, thus achieving more efficient and sustainable production.
This system is valid for different industries such as food, chemical, textile or composite manufacturing, providing the characterisation of different types of products such as liquids, powders, solids, masses, etc. In addition, we offer the development and maintenance service of predictive models, essential for the correct operation of the equipment. We are also developing the portable version of the innovative AONIR platform for quality control and traceability from raw material input to the final product.
The AONIR portable sensors will provide at-line the most characteristic parameters of the products at each step of the food chain, from farm to fork. Key product quality parameters could be sent to the IoT platform and certified via blockchain. This would provide full traceability of the products.
