Production zone: Piedmont Region, Province of Asti
Climate: Mediterranean, characterized by harsh winters with temperatures reaching -15°C, and hot and humid summers with temperatures reaching 35° C
Soil: sandy, clayey and calcareous
Altitude: 250-300 meters above sea level
Training system: traditional Piedmontese guyot with a vine density ranging from 4,000 to 4,500 vine stocks per hectare
Production yield per hectare: 100 quintals
Average age of the vines: 20-30 years
Vinification: thermo-conditioned vats at around 12° C for 30 days
Colour: straw yellow with greenish nuances
Aroma: prevailing floral aromas of white flowers reminiscent of springtime, yet a delicate with perceptible soft fruit notes of apple and pineapple
Taste: quite tannic, clean and dry
Total acidity: < 6 gr./l
